Recently I had the opportunity to make images for Workbench Collaborative, a relatively new real estate developer in the Bloomington-Normal area. As stated on their Facebook page, Workbench is “a Midwest building collaborative that develops, designs and manages the built environment.” Workbench Architects designed The Foundry, of which I made some images last year for Specialized Bicycle Components.

For this project, Workbench commissioned exterior-only images of several of their key properties around town, which I shot over a holiday weekend to avoid parking lots filled with cars. I also worked at dusk and in the early morning for optimal quality of light, generally shooting west-facing properties in the evening, and east facing properties in morning. We had some clouds, but generally, good results! Here’s a sampling of the images, which will appear in marketing collateral in the future.
