Recently, I had the honor of making family portraits again for this precious family. We met at Franklin Park in Bloomington, where they went often when the kids were smaller and they lived nearby.

The coordinated, bright color choices in their clothing offset the lack of color in the winter landscape well!  Making good portraits in any setting or season is totally doable with some thoughtful planning.

As a photographer, it’s so fun to see how quickly families change in just a couple of years, and it means so much to be invited back to make more heirlooms!
